Unmasking the Plague of Poaching: A Call to Preserve Our Wildlife

Poaching, the sinister trade in illegal wildlife trafficking and killing, devastates nature's beauty. From trophies to so-called 'folk medicines,' and even pets, the tragedy unfolds.

With more tigers in captivity than in the wild, the gravity of poaching cannot be denied.

For far too long, Africa has grappled with the threat of poaching, casting a shadow over global conservation efforts. The bushmeat trade's impact on wildlife populations resonates deeply across the continent.

Amidst this crisis, a resounding call for action emerges. As animal poaching escalates, the world demands robust laws and unwavering deterrence against these ecological crimes.

Non-governmental champions like us at AFOA are treating wildlife crimes with the gravity they deserve, paralleling efforts against drug smuggling and human trafficking. Across the globe, countries are arming themselves with strengthened anti-poaching laws and relentless prosecutions.

Together, let's fortify the shield that guards our planet's treasures – our wildlife, our legacy.

Who we support!

C.R.O.W

In Asia, soaring demand fuels the perilous illegal wildlife trade, a destructive force eroding our planet's biodiversity. Our heroes, the Rangers of Africa, confront this menace daily, facing criminal syndicates led by unrelenting profiteers.

Regrettably, these valiant Rangers often lack adequate preparation for this battle. In 2018, "Life on the Frontline," a WWF Report, unveiled a stark truth: 38% of rangers found their initial training insufficient for the realities they encounter.

Introducing C.R.O.W. (Conservation Rangers Operations Worldwide), a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization in the US. As an international educational institution, we're on a resolute mission: to train and equip Rangers worldwide, establishing a new standard of expertise. Our focus is clear – supplementing anti-poaching and conservation efforts in medium and high-risk zones.

Join us as we empower those who safeguard our planet. Together, we can rewrite the narrative and protect the treasures of our world.

“There is a WAR in Africa between Poachers and Rangers.
On one side nearly endless resources coming from Far East,
on the other mere will to protect wildlife.
WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?”

[Andy Martin, C.R.O.W. Executive Director and Instructor]

Why we chose anti-poaching

Poaching thrives in the shadows of low risks and dwindling consequences. AFOA disrupts this cycle. By intensifying prosecutions and amplifying risks, we forge a path toward lasting deterrence.

Yet, challenges persist. Animal losses surge, endangering ecosystems and escalating conflicts. In 2015, almost 1,400 African rhinos fell to poaching—a stark increase from 2010's count of around 400.

The ramifications stretch beyond the environment. Poaching weakens law and order, threatening peace. Kenya's wildlife has suffered, even teetering on extinction.

Amid this crisis, Kenya made history in 2013, imposing stringent penalties for wildlife crimes. The result? Elephant poaching fell 80%, rhino deaths plummeted 90%.

C.R.O.W., a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, leads the charge. We forge international Rangers to confront poaching's menace, securing our ecosystems and global harmony
